Science communication expert with 14 years of experience and a proven track record of impactful projects in international media, NGOs and top academic institutions. Known for my vast expertise and deep understanding of both Media & Science sectors. Capable of merging Academic and Media worlds, building highly effective evidence-based workshops and larger events for scientists, science communicators and journalists, designing sound marketing and communication strategies in science&tech sector, successfully leading product launches, building interdisciplinary teams.

Media sector

Award-winning science journalist with over 10 years of writing on science for top media in English, Russian and Italian, including Wired and Forbes.

Academic sector

German Chancellor Fellowship of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany). PhD in physical chemistry from the Russian Academy of Sciences (33 academic papers published, h-index = 12). Co-founder and first academic director of the Master in Science Communication degree (100+ alumni) and mass open online course (MOOC) in SciComm (1000+ alumni) at ITMO University (Saint-Petersburg).

NGO

Co-founding and leading the Russian Association of Science Communication (AKSON). Project planning, legal and financial support, fundraising, running two professional awards and a national annual conference on science communication, starting up a national citizen science platform.

To produce perfect books, these rules have to be brought back to life and applied."
Front matter, or preliminaries, is the first section of a book and is usually the smallest section in terms of the number of pages. Each page is counted, but no folio or page number is expressed or printed, on either display pages or blank pages.
